About Me…

I am Deana, your favorite Generational Photographer!

I love hiking, reading, going on adventures, and most of all - I love being too lazy to do any of those things and just lying on my favorite chair and playing on my phone for hours on end. (sometimes even my cat cheeky joins in on the laziness)

I am almost always being silly behind the camera and sometimes, someone catches it on camera.

I have a daughter named Luna, who was actually the inspiration behind the name Moondrop Photography & Film. If you haven’t guessed it already, I love the Moon. To me, the Moon is my compass for when I am having a difficult time and it has never failed me! 🌙

Some Fun Facts About Me…

I love the outdoors but you will almost always find me inside watching any series/movie related to magic or reading a fantasy book. (I am for sure an Acotar groupie (IYKYK!)
I embody positivity and will look for it in every moment no matter how bad.
I wear glasses… all the time! (and no, I can’t see without them haha)
My personality style is a mix of carefree, routine-oriented, and wandering soul!
I value experiences in my life and I live a relatively minimalistic lifestyle but…. I do indulge in the occasional impulse purchases! (doesn’t everyone?!)
My favorite color is Green (Yes, no one thought that there are people out there who love green but HERE I AM!)
I love good conversation and exceptional silence (as a wild toddler mom, you learn to appreciate the quiet a lot!)
I am trying to learn Spanish because it is an absolutely beautiful language and used across the world - especially where I would one day love to go - South America! I have met the most amazing people from there whilst working as a photographer on cruise ships and it has been my dream to go see that part of the world since then!
